Shaler, PA (April 6, 2022) – Route 8 in Shaler was closed after a multi-car crash caused injuries. The incident occurred on Tuesday, April 5, according to reports. 

Sources said the accident happened near Fall Run Road between two vehicles. Responders sent one person to the hospital with injuries. 

Duquesne Light reported over 150 outages in the Shaler area after the collision. The roadway did not reopen until around 11:00 p.m.

The extent of the injuries suffered in the crash has not been reported. Police officials in Shaler continue to investigate the details of the collision.
