Pittsburgh, PA (April 7, 2022) – A pedestrian accident in Pittsburgh left a woman with critical injuries on April 6. The incident was reported to officials in the area at around 8:00 p.m.
Emergency responders were called to the 4500 block of McKnight Road near Sovereign Street for reports of a pedestrian crash with injuries. According to officials, paramedics transported a female victim to a local hospital by ambulance due to injuries she sustained in the wreck.
The victim was unconscious and in critical condition at the time of transport. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances of the auto-pedestrian collision.
A portion of southbound McKnight Road was closed on April 6 while emergency crews worked in the area. No further details have been reported at this time.
