Pittsburgh, PA (April 4, 2022) – Two people were taken to the hospital after a car crash happened in South Oakland in Pittsburgh. The incident was reported to officials in the area shortly after 2:30 a.m. on Monday, April 4.
According to reports, an SUV collided with a retaining wall. Two people present in the vehicle sustained injuries and were treated on-site by paramedics.
The injured parties were then transported to an area hospital for further care. Their identities have not been reported.
The roadway was closed while crews worked at the scene assisting injured victims and investigating the circumstances of the accident. Authorities in Pittsburgh are working to determine the cause of the wreck.
