Pittsburgh, PA (March 29, 2022) – One person was transported by ambulance on Monday, March 28, from the scene of a serious accident in Polish Hill, Pittsburgh. Dispatchers for Allegheny 911 stated the wreck happened at around 4:00 a.m.
Reports indicate that a vehicle crashed into a utility pole on Herron Avenue at the intersection with Dobson Street. The scene was located between Bigelow Boulevard and Liberty Avenue.
Approximately 56 customers were left without power in Lawrenceville due to the wreck. Police continue to investigate the details of the incident.
The current condition of the injured victim has not been reported.
Traffic was delayed in the vicinity of the crash site while emergency crews worked to clear the area. Local drivers were asked to seek alternate travel routes for the time being.
