Pittsburgh, PA (April 3, 2022) – Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of a car crash reported in Pittsburgh on the evening of March 31. At approximately 8:00 p.m., sources say the accident happened on Interstate 70.
Reports reveal that the wreck occurred in the westbound lanes of I-70 between multiple vehicles. How and why the incident took place remains unknown at this time.
The roadway was blocked in the area while crews worked to secure the crash scene and assist those involved. Numerous responders were observed on-site.
Paramedics rendered emergency aid to those in need at the scene before transporting seriously injured patients to area hospitals as necessary. Those involved have not currently been identified.
