Pittsburgh, PA (April 25, 2022) –A traffic accident ended in injuries on a roadway in Pittsburgh on the evening of April 22. At approximately 6:15 p.m., various responders were dispatched to the scene to help the involved parties.
Sources say the accident happened on Route 28 near Ohio Street and St Nicks Church. An unknown number of vehicles were involved in a crash. At least one person sustained injuries, according to reports.
Paramedics rendered emergency medical care to injured victims at the scene. Extensively injured victims were transported to local hospitals as needed for further care.
Traffic was backed up to Millvale/Grant Avenue/Exit 3 for some time while emergency crews worked to secure the area. Local motorists were asked by police to use alternative routes of travel while the scene was active with responders.
