Pittsburgh, PA – Major Car Wreck on S 10th St near E Carson St

Pittsburgh, PA (May 8, 2022) – Injuries were reported as a result of a car crash that happened in Pittsburgh on May 8. At approximately 12:22 a.m., responders were dispatched to the wreck site on South 10th Street. 

Reports show that the accident happened on South 10th Street near East Carson Street. An unspecified number of cars were involved in a crash that ended in injuries. EMTs were seen assisting at the scene shortly after the collision occurred. 

Extensively injured patients were taken to local hospitals by ambulance. At this time, the extent of their injuries has not been reported. 

Traffic was backed up in the vicinity of the crash scene on South 10th Street while crews worked to clear the wreckage. At this time, the cause of the incident remains under local law enforcement investigation.
