Pittsburgh, PA (May 11, 2022) – Injuries resulted from an auto collision on Wednesday, May 11 in Pittsburgh. The wreck was reported on Ohio River Boulevard.
Police responded to the crash scene along with paramedics and other responders. The incident occurred on Ohio River Boulevard near Route 65.
Injured accident victims were treated by paramedics on-site. The victims with extensive injuries were taken by ambulance to local medical centers for treatment as necessary.
The names of those involved have not been released at this time. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
The roadway was blocked in the area while police and other responders worked to secure the scene. Local drivers were forced to use alternative travel routes for the time being, causing some traffic delays.
