Pittsburgh, PA (April 21, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported in Pittsburgh on Thursday evening resulted in injuries. At approximately 5:39 p.m., on April 21, first responders were dispatched to the scene of an auto collision in the 3500 block of Bigelow Boulevard.
Reports from officials show that a crash between vehicles blocked Bigelow Boulevard near Bethoven Street for some time while crews worked to assist injured victims and investigate the circumstances of the incident. Emergency personnel was observed at the scene for an extended period while they worked to clear the wreckage from the area.
At least one injured person was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Police urged local motorists to find alternative travel routes while emergency crews were present at the crash scene.
Authorities in Pittsburgh continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
