Pittsburgh, PA – Car Wreck Ends in Injuries on I-376 at Edgewood/Swissvale

Pittsburgh, PA (April 1, 2022) – A multi-vehicle accident in Pittsburgh ended in injuries and traffic delays on the afternoon of March 31. At approximately 4:30 p.m., the wreck was reported to officials in the area. 

Numerous responders were sent to assist at the scene, including police, EMTs, and firefighters. Upon their arrival at the crash site, on I-376 at the Edgewood/Swissvale exit, they found multiple vehicles that had been involved in a wreck. 

The circumstances leading up to the collision are currently being investigated by police. One or more injured victims were treated on-site before being transported to a local hospital for further care. 

The involved parties have not been identified at this time. Delays in traffic were observed in the area while emergency responders were present.
