Pittsburgh, PA – Car Crash with Injuries on Baum Blvd near Morewood Ave

Pittsburgh, PA (April 17, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported in Pittsburgh on Sunday afternoon resulted in injuries. At approximately 3:25 p.m. on April 17, first responders were dispatched to the scene of an auto collision in the 4900 block of Baum Boulevard. 

Reports from officials show that a crash between vehicles blocked Baum Boulevard near Morewood Avenue while crews worked at the scene. Emergency personnel was observed at the crash site while they worked to clear the wreckage from the area and help those who were hurt. 

At least one person was taken to a local hospital with injuries. Police urged local motorists to find alternative travel routes while emergency crews were present at the crash scene. 

Authorities in Pittsburgh continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
