Penn Hills, PA (May 7, 2022) – At least one person sustained injuries in an auto accident on the evening of May 7. At approximately 8:12 p.m., responders were sent to the scene of the wreck on Penn Hills Drive. 

Reports say the accident happened on Penn Hills Drive near Penn Hills Shopping Center. An unknown number of vehicles were involved in a crash in the area that caused injuries. Many responders were sent to assist at the crash scene. 

Paramedics assisted the injured parties on-site before transporting extensively injured people to local medical centers. What caused the accident to occur is still being investigated by police. 

Traffic was delayed for some time while emergency personnel worked in the area. Local motorists were forced to use alternate routes while responders remained active on the road.
