Mount Lebanon, PA – Car Crash Ends in Injuries on Gilkeson Rd near Iroquois Drive

Mount Lebanon, PA (April 25, 2022) – At least one person was transported to a local hospital with injuries after a car wreck on Gilkeson Road in Mount Lebanon on April 25. Just before 3:45 p.m., police were sent to the scene of a car accident in the 200 block of Gilkeson Road near Iroquois Drive.

Local authorities reported that an unknown number of vehicles collided for reason still under investigation. One or more people sustained injuries in the crash. 

Paramedics rendered aid to injured victims at the scene before transporting those with extensive injuries to local hospitals for treatment. 

The roadway was blocked for over two hours while crews worked to secure the area. 

At this time, the details of the collision remain under police investigation.
