Little Beaver Township, PA (March 29, 2022) – State police in Little Beaver, Pennsylvania reported to the scene of a two-car accident on Sunday morning, March 27 around 1:33 a.m. The collision resulted in injuries and traffic delays.
Police say the accident happened on the PA Turnpike in the eastbound lanes when a 44-year-old female from Beaver Falls was driving a 2008 Jeep Wrangler headed east on the turnpike. She was involved in a crash with 42-year-old Garret Kemp of New Brighton who was driving a 2020 MAC truck.
The Jeep left the roadway and struck a guardrail due to the collision. The female driver was injured and transported to Heritage Valley Beaver for treatment. The other driver involved was not hurt, sources said.
Traffic was delayed on the Turnpike while emergency personnel worked to secure the scene. Police asked drivers in the area to steer clear of the site of the wreck while responders were present.
