Kittanning, PA – Two-Car Accident Leaves Woman Injured on Rt 28 at Lexington Ave Ramp

Kittanning, PA (March 28, 2022) – Police in Kittanning are currently investigating a two-car accident that happened on the evening of Friday, March 25. At approximately 5:30 p.m., the crash took place on Route 28 above the Lexington Avenue ramp. 

Two vehicles collided in the area for reasons that are not yet known. Police, EMTs, and fire crews were sent to the scene to help those involved. One or more victims were treated at the scene for injuries. 

One woman was transported from the accident site to a local hospital with a neck injury, according to reports from officials. Her identity has not been released at this time. 

Traffic was backed up in the area while crews worked to secure the scene. Authorities in Kittanning continue to investigate the details of the incident.
