Jefferson Hills, PA (May 6, 2022) – A traffic collision that ended in injuries for at least one person happened in Jefferson Hills on Friday, May 6. At approximately 9:34 a.m., the incident was reported to police in the area.
Sources said the wreck occurred in the 1200 block of Route 51 near Elliot Road. Details are currently limited concerning the incident.
Emergency crews, including paramedics, police, and fire crews, were seen helping injured victims at the crash scene. Seriously injured parties were taken to local hospitals by ambulance. At this time, the total number of injured victims has not been reported.
The roadway was closed while police and other responders worked in the area. Local motorists were forced to use alternate routes while crews were on-site.
Police continue to investigate.
