Frankfort Springs, PA – One Injured in Traffic Crash on PA Rt 18 near Logue Rd

Frankfort Springs, PA (April 7, 2022) – A car wreck in Frankfort Springs, Beaver County, sent one woman to the hospital on March 29. At approximately 3:45 p.m., emergency responders were called to a crash scene on Route 18. 

According to reports, the accident happened near Logue Road on PA Route 18. A woman identified as Catherine Simmons, a Georgetown resident, was driving her 2017 RAM 1500 when she came upon a vehicle and a deer on the road. 

Simmons swerved into the left lane before leaving the roadway and striking a tree. Her vehicle was extensively damaged and had to be towed from the scene. 

Paramedics evaluated her at the crash site before being sent to Heritage Valley Beaver for suspected injuries. Authorities in Frankfort Springs continue to investigate the details of the crash.
