Dover, PA – 16-Year-Old Girl Killed in Car Accident on E Canal Rd near Fox Run Rd

Dover, PA (April 10, 2022) – A 16-year-old girl lost her life following a two-car accident reported in central Pennsylvania on Saturday, April 2. The incident was reported in the 1500 block of East Canal Street. 

Reports indicate that the collision occurred at the intersection of East Canal Street and Fox Run Road in Dover Township at approximately 3:15 p.m. A release from the York County Coroner’s office stated the girl was in the front passenger seat of a vehicle when it was involved in a crash. 

She was transported to Wellspan York Hospital’s Emergency Department where, despite lifesaving measures, she lost her life at approximately 5:31 p.m. At this time, the health status of the other involved individuals has not been reported.
