Dover, PA (April 4, 2022) – A 16-year-old girl was killed in a car accident in central Pennsylvania on Saturday, April 2. The crash occurred in the 1500 block of East Canal Road in Dover at approximately 3:15 p.m.
The girl was riding in the front passenger seat of a vehicle at the time of the accident. She was transported to Wellspan York Hospital Emergency Department where, despite life-saving measures, she was pronounced deceased at approximately 5:31 p.m.
Her identity will be released once her next of kin has been notified. The conditions of the other people involved in the accident have not been reported at this time.
Police continue to investigate the details of the collision.
