Clearfield, PA (April 13, 2022) – Two people were sent to the hospital with injuries after an auto accident in Clearfield on April 12. The three-vehicle collision took place at approximately 6:40 a.m.
According to reports, the incident occurred on Old East Route 422 near South Clearfield Road. Authorities say 18-year-old Brian Bellas, a Kittanning resident, ran a stop sign and struck another car, pushing it through the intersection. That vehicle was then involved in a crash with an SUV driven by Scarlet Lewis, 24, of Fenelton.
Four people were involved in the wreck, however, Bellas and Lewis were both transported by ambulance to Butler Memorial Hospital with injuries.
Police in Clearfield continue to investigate the details of the accident.
