Chicora, PA – Four Injured In Car Accident on S Main St near Medical Ctr Rd

Chicora, PA (April 19, 2022) – Two adults and two children sustained injuries in a two-vehicle collision on Thursday, April 14, in Chicora. The accident was reported on South Main Street. 

Sources say that the wreck occurred on South Main Street near the intersection with Medical Center Road at around 6:00 p.m. Authorities said Pamela King, 56, from East Brady, was headed west near the Rummy Mart when she attempted to take a sharp right. 

King struck a van in the opposite lane driven by Holly Dunlap, 42, of Chicora. Dunlap was seriously injured in the collision and was transported to Butler Memorial Hospital for treatment. 

Two children were also in the van at the time of the crash, both of who were transported to Butler Memorial Hospital for emergency medical care. King also suffered injuries and was taken to the hospital. She is suspected of driving while intoxicated. 

Police continue to investigate the details of the incident.
