Butler, PA – Injuries Result from Car Wreck on Rt 8 near McBride Hill

Butler, PA (April 19, 2022) – At least one person was hurt in an auto accident on a roadway in Butler on April 18. At approximately 12:30 p.m., the collision happened on Route 8 South. 

Witnesses said that two vehicles were involved in a collision that caused significant damage to one car. The collision occurred near a temporary construction zone, though it remains unclear whether that was a factor in the wreck. 

Emergency medical crews were observed at the site of the incident evaluating one injured patient. Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash. 

Traffic was delayed in the area while first responders worked at the scene. Local drivers were asked to use caution in the area or find different routes.
